Career within IT

A career within IT is one of the most versatile and diverse choice of all careers a person can go for. The field of IT has been growing at a staggering rate and with new branches being introduced every now and then, a person has the option to choose from a wide variety of existing disciplines within the IT industry.
According to payscale.com, a website used to rank job earnings and job satisfaction, a career in IT as the most rewarding one, with internet entrepreneurs as being among the richest people in the world. A vast application of computer-automation in industries means that everyone is expected to know some basics of computer coding and this means that in the future, the demand for computer programmers will keep on increasing  and is expected to surpass the supply.
A career in IT requires you to have sound communication skills as it is important to understand and implement the requirements of the client accordingly. As an IT specialist, you are always learning new tools and technologies and new ways of making a software more durable.
The vast application of programming within every industry means that programming graduates can find employment in almost any industry, ranging from the construction industry to as vast as the space and aeronautics industry.

Views about IT

I believe the world of IT is one of the fastest growing disciplines among all in the 21st century.
With everything going towards automation, networking and programming is becoming the norm.
Statistics suggest that in the year 2050, IT jobs will become the most demanding of all; the demand increasing over the years as compared to the number of IT graduates.
As the vast majority of industries in the world switches towards programmable machines, there will be an increasing demand for computer-literacy and everyone will be expected to know some basics of computer coding and programming.
Programming is also fun to learn and engaging. It boosts a person's logical thinking and increases creative thought. Programming and networking has overtime made the world a more of a global village by increasing connections at a national and an international level. The world wide web assists a person considerably in his daily activities such as shopping, banking and socializing.
Furthermore, with the introduction of new applications such as snapchat and facebook, the internet has become a more engaging tool.
Technologies such as WiFi and the introduction of the smartphone, makes the internet more within reach.
With endless possibilities for innovation within the IT world, the future is expected to be more automatized and virtual reality is a classic example of one such innovation.    

My Introduction

My name is Waleed Ahmed. I'm a 24 year old student studying bachelor of IT in Victoria University.
Currently I'm studying in my first year which is the diploma year.
My current residence is in the suburb of dandenong. I live with my brother in a multi-storey house.
The highest level of qualification I have done is the general certificate of education (advanced level)
which is equivalent to Australian year 12.
